It allows for unified information to be gathered in one place and, primarily, to avoid the revictimization of women who have suffered any form of violence.<\/p>\n\n

On Monday, March 27, the Integrated User System of the Ministry of Women was implemented in Paraguay, which allows for a unique file for victims of violence. At present, it is a program that draws information from the Ministry of Women, but it aims to continue integrating information from various public agencies.<\/p>\n\n

<\/div>\n\n

The project, funded by the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB) and implemented by Visiion, aims to prevent the revictimization of women who are victims of violence (including gender, labor, psychological, economic violence, among others) by consolidating all information into a single file.<\/p>\n\n

<\/div>\n\n

The Integrated User System of the Ministry of Women includes five modules: the Women\u2019s Care Service (Sedamur), the Women\u2019s Observatory, the SOS 137, and the Ciudad Mujer Center. For example, if a woman calls the 137 hotline and has already filed reports at the Ciudad Mujer Center, she does not need to recount her situation from scratch, as the system already has the information. This approach also facilitates case tracking. \n<\/p>\n\n

The challenges of these Integrated Systems are numerous, including achieving data interoperability (more information on this topic <a href=”https:\/\/visiion.cl\/?techblog=interoperabilidad-de-datos-desarrollo-de-gobiernos-digitales-en-latinoamerica”>here<\/a>); confidentiality, which is crucial given that the system deals with women who are victims of violence, and ensuring data quality and updates.<\/p>\n\n

The Integrated User System of the Ministry of Women is part of the project that began with the Ciudad Mujer Center, which opened its doors in 2018. It is a unique building that functions as a Comprehensive Center, with various areas of care: Sexual and Reproductive Health, Violence Prevention and Care, Economic Empowerment, Training, and Childcare. These modules exchange information and work together.<\/p>\n\n

With the experience gained from the Ciudad Mujer Center, the project for the Integrated User System of the Ministry of Women was designed, and after years of work, it was implemented on March 27. The goal is to integrate new sources of information, such as the Public Ministry, which will primarily enable action in the prevention of violence cases.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
